Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets on room hire, food and beverage, sundry items.
- Design, plan and deliver a sales plan and strategy, working alongside the Marketing & Events Manager
- Grow the business through maximising uptake and spend per head
- Identify new business opportunities, demonstrate and implement innovation whenever possible
- Proactively grow and develop relationships with prospective and existing key account
- Attend organised events and showcases to engage with event bookers. E.g.: open days, exhibitions, displays etc.
- Ensure all sales collateral is in line with the venue’s marketing plan
- Create quality proposals for our clients – corporate, private and social
- Oversee and manage invoicing and payment for the events
- To win and retain business and to promote awareness of all facilities and services available
- Manage motivate, support, drive, provide guidance and development for all members of the onsite sales team

- Proactivity in dealing with all enquiries (telephone / email) to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and friendly manner.
