The Role
As Sales Office Manager, you’ll lead from the front—motivating and developing your team to exceed revenue targets and KPIs, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reservations and event sales. This is a hands-on role where strategic thinking meets operational excellence.
You’ll take ownership of diary and inventory management to maximise yield, oversee forecasting and rate strategy, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape and execute sales strategies that deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and develop the Sales Office team to achieve and exceed targets
* Manage daily operations of reservations and meetings & events sales
* Optimise room and event diary management to maximise revenue opportunities
* Produce accurate weekly forecasts with insightful commentary
* Drive sales strategy in collaboration with the General Manager through regular strategy meetings
* Ensure seamless communication between sales and operations for flawless event delivery
* Oversee revenue procedures including cancellations, no-shows, and room allocation
* Maintain high standards across all sales processes in line with company expectations
* Ensure accurate contracting, follow-ups, and system updates (Opera)
* Maximise conversion opportunities and proactively secure alternative business within the wider group
* Implement and manage pricing strategies using tools such as OTA Insight, STR, and Tableau
* Keep all third-party platforms (e.g., CVENT, Venue Directory, Hitched) updated and optimised
* Support budgeting and attend key commercial and strategy meetings
Recruit, train, and nurture new talent within the team
