Senior Sales & Event Manager

  • £44,000 per annum

Role Overview:

To be the principal point of contact between ELH and the Client, selling, developing, organizing and managing the Event Catering. To actively work as part of the Events Team to increase and enhance the level of Sales. Proactively up selling the services by various techniques and always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations. To operate and maintain the systems for client ordering and all related processing, ensuring the highest standards of accurate and timely customer, staff and management information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Event Managers, ensuring high performance and excellent communication

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers

  • Support new team member inductions and ongoing team development

  • Respond promptly to catering and event enquiries, converting leads into bookings

  • Manage client communications before, during, and after events, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business

  • Proactively resolve complaints and turn feedback into positive experiences

  • Ensure all event details, proposals, and paperwork are accurate and compliant with company procedures

  • Uphold legal and company standards in areas such as Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensing

  • Maintain detailed records, databases, and efficient administrative systems

  • Attend client site visits and live events to monitor delivery and maintain strong relationships

  • Collaborate with senior managers to continuously improve service and client partnerships

About you:

  • Experience in event coordination or hospitality management

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational ability with attention to detail

  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on quality and service

  • Confidence in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
