Sous Chef – Prestigious Corporate Environment, London

Location: London
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £38,500 + Overtime at x1.5 rate

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service and quality delivery.
  • Lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence, maintaining high standards across the board.
  • Handle kitchen administration, including stock-taking, ordering, allergens, and due diligence.
  • Manage both fine dining and staff dining, adapting to a fast-paced environment and last-minute requests.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a unified dining experience.
  • Cross-train across the kitchen, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Expertise in all areas of the kitchen, with a focus on fine dining.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and food safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach to kitchen leadership.
