Job Introduction
Sous Chef – £38,941 per annum (£18.65 per hour)
Canary Wharf | Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 | 40 hours/week + Paid Overtime
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team in the heart of Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a strong restaurant background who is ready to step into a leadership role within a professional and forward-thinking kitchen.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and inspire the kitchen team
Run the pass during busy service
Assist with menu development focused on seasonality and sustainability
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Support events and functions with paid overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a restaurant kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confidence in running service and mentoring junior chefs
A passion for fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients

Salary: £38,941 annually (£18.65/hour)
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday only
Schedule: 07:30 – 16:00 (no evenings or weekends)
Extras: Paid overtime for events and functions at 1.5x hourly rate
