VSG is delighted to be appointed by Southend BID Ltd to provide a team of Street Rangers for Southend Town Centre & Seafront.
Working at the heart of Southend’s Business Improvement District the Street Rangers will be able to demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service, as well as working with the Police and other organisations in their efforts to reduce business crime thus improving the perception of the town centre and seafront as a safe place to be.
As a Street Ranger your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver outstanding visitor experience at all times
- Actively build relationships with local businesses, particularly within the BID area
- Promote responsible citizenship in respect of litter, graffiti and related issues.
- Liaison with Police, Council and other relevant authorities
- Issue of fines and fixed penalty notices in accordance with the Police Accreditation Scheme
- Operate appropriate IT equipment including security radios and PDAs
Who you are:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven relationship building skills
- Ability to work in a highly organized manner and use initiative where appropriate
- Good working knowledge of health & safety
- Knowledge of Southend Town Centre & Seafront
- previous similar experience
- SIA Licence
