About the Role
We’re recruiting a Test Lead to play a key role in the successful rollout of Synbiotix, a Computer‑Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, across multiple acute hospital sites.
You’ll be responsible for leading the end‑to‑end testing approach, including test strategy, script creation, execution and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the system is robust, reliable and ready for go‑live.
This is a mobile, delivery‑focused role suited to someone who thrives in large‑scale digital transformation environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, implement and manage the testing strategy across SIT, UAT and performance testing
- Design, develop and maintain detailed test scripts aligned to business requirements
- Lead test execution, defect logging and validation of fixes
- Work closely with project teams, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment
- Manage defect tracking and resolution using tools such as JIRA / XRAY
- Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks and outcomes
- Ensure quality, performance and functionality standards are met
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes for future rollouts
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Test Lead, ideally within large‑scale digital transformation programmes
- Strong experience testing CAFM systems and understanding FM service environments
- In‑depth knowledge of testing methodologies including UAT, SIT and regression testing
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum frameworks
- Strong test management and defect tracking experience (JIRA / XRAY)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capability
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel and stay away overnight.
Desirable:
- Experience with Synbiotix or similar CAFM platforms
- Experience delivering testing for multi‑site deployments.
- Knowledge of NHS environments, regulations or quality standards
