More about the role:

  • Review the information on the Accident and Incident Reporting (AIR) system to ensure that the unit has completed the report correctly when logging the Foreign Body
  • Request the unit to provide the product traceability information, any photographs and send the Foreign Body to Rivermead
  • Ensure the Foreign Body is photographed and uploaded to the AIR system
  • Send the Foreign Body to the relevant supplier or HSE manager for investigation
  • Chasing suppliers for response letters, checking that the responses are appropriate and liaising with the suppliers if not
  • Send the supplier letter with appropriate covering letters to the customers, units and clients as necessary
  • Update the AIR System to ensure that reporting to both Group, the HSE and Foodbuy teams is accurate
  • Assist with onboarding of new Non-Food / Supplies Equipment & Services (SES) suppliers and checking of accreditations for existing SES suppliers
  • Assist with chasing Food suppliers for specifications and certifications as requested by units
