Job Introduction

We're currently recruiting a passionate Breakfast Cook to bring the flavour to Eurest on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

As a Breakfast Cook, you will support our talented culinary teams in preparing and serving the delicious food we're known for! You'll help to keep our clients and customers smiling with dining experiences that align with popular tastes and dietary requirements, and in return, you'll have the opportunity to progress your culinary career in a market-leading food service company.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and cook hot breakfasts and freshly made baguettes daily for staff and visitors
  • Oversee the daily operations of the canteen, including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date food hygiene, health & safety, and due diligence records
  • Manage stock rotation, ordering, wastage control, and conduct weekly stock counts
  • Accurately complete and submit weekly paperwork and operational reports
  • Refill and maintain 4 on-site vending machines, including cash reconciliation
  • Deliver excellent customer service, promote offers, and support sales growth
  • Work independently with ongoing support and training from the unit manager
  • Manage stock levels, place orders, oversee deliveries, and reduce wastage through effective stock control
  • Complete weekly stock counts, operational reports, and submit necessary paperwork accurately and on time

Our ideal Breakfast Cook will:

  • Experience in a catering or cooking role, ideally with some supervisory or keyholder experience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently
  • High standards of food hygiene and cleanliness with strong attention to detail
  • Administrative and stock control capabilities
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  • Work independently with full training and ongoing support from the unit manager
