Role Overview

As a Chef de Partie – Staff Feeding, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and consistent meals for Levy and venue colleagues. This is a hands-on role focused on fresh food preparation, high standards, and smooth service, supporting the wider culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver fresh, balanced, and appealing staff meals in line with Levy standards
  • Lead a section within the staff kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Support menu planning with a focus on nutrition, variety, dietary requirements, and sustainability
  • Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
  • Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and follow correct storage and rotation procedures
  • Support junior kitchen team members, offering guidance and day-to-day supervision
  • Work collaboratively with front and back of house teams to ensure smooth service
  • Assist with cleaning schedules and kitchen organisation
  • Adapt menus and production levels to fluctuating staff numbers and event demands

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Experience in high-volume catering, staff dining, or contract catering preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene standards
  • Passion for fresh food and consistent, well-executed meals
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
  • A positive team player with good communication skills
  • Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to complete)
