Each day presents the Colleague Support Department with new challenges!  If you are looking for a varied and challenging role then we have an opportunity for a coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, assertive team player. Your excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills will be essential for this role.

 

By providing support to our field based employees, and our senior operations managers and management team; the Colleague Support department coordinate the day to day activity relating to all people related issues. You’ll take ownership of issues raised through the department, ensuring matters are resolved whilst working towards continually improving the support which we provide VSG’s employees.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolve all people related issues to resolution. This may include liaising with other departments ensuing that resolution is found within a reasonable time frame
  • Maintain employee welfare, offering assistance in difficult times
  • Process employee documentation, including terms and conditions
  • Coordinate the process for AWOL employees
  • Manage and track all company complaints ensuring that resolution is reached and logged within a satisfactory timeframe
  • Ensure that all sites have the required company information and documentation, ensuring our compliance with set industry standards
  • Action all call back requests and incoming calls, ensuring that all are resolved to completion and closed to a satisfactory outcome
  • Manage the exit process for employees leaving the company to form statics and find trends.
  • Process employees annual leave requests
  • Ordering of new starter uniform
  • Process of uniform exchanges and renewals for existing and new employees
  • Manage the mobilisation of all new TUPE contracts, to include all HR aspects and operations administration
  • Manage the TUPE exit of all contract losses ensuring that all legislation is adhered to within the given timeframes
  • Equipment ordering and invoice reconciliation
  • Ensure all contract documentation is updated and maintained within company systems
  • Some business and management reporting as required
