Food and Beverage Manager – The Convention Centre Dublin | Full-Time / Permanent

We're seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily bar operations and drive the delivery of excellent guest experiences at The Convention Centre Dublin - a world class venue in the heart of Ireland's capital city.

Food and Beverage Manager - The role

  • Oversee daily bar/hospitality operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop bar staff to maintain high performance and morale including scheduling rotas.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving enquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Manage beverage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and regular stock reconciliations.
  • Implement cost control measures to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
  • Monitor bar sales, labour costs, budgets, and overall financial performance.
  • Develop promotions, events, and beverage menus to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain high standards in cocktail preparation, presentation, and beverage quality.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and oversee responsible alcohol service training.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage or Bar Manager within a high volume hotel or events focused hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision-making abilities.
