Job Introduction
- To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
- Reporting directly into the Executive Head Chef
- You will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining and food experiences
- Operating from a purpose built and brand new hospitality kitchen, our Events and Hospitality service
- From meeting room lunches to fine dining, this is a role where working as part of a tightly knit team is a crucial factor
- Looking after hospitality and events
Leading a team of 10 chefs
The ability to serve 150+ covers a day. Including cafe, restaurant and hospitality.
- To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
- To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
- To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
- To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
- Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
- Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team
- Provide feedback and coaching on performance
- To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
- Have a understanding of all aspects of kitchen management including financial, safety and people processes
