Hospitality Porter - Jockey Club Racing

  • £25,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week, 5 over 7 days

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Hospitality Porter to join our operations team at Exeter Racecourse. You will assist in preparing function rooms and events spaces for C & E, hospitality and race day clients.

The Jockey Club stages thrilling sporting occasions and live events nationwide including The Grand National, The Cheltenham Festival & The Derby. Owning & operating 15 course’s, millions of people every year enjoy the special experiences we offer through racing, music, food and entertainment on raceday’s and beyond.

More about the role:
  • Meet and greet clients and support in the running of events
  • Prepare and set up function rooms and event spaces for all conference and events
  • Ensure that locking up and unlocking routines are carried out correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in public areas
  • Breaking down event spaces
  • Manually moving equipment around site
About you:
  • Great communcation skills
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Team player
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move tables and chairs
