What you will do:

 

To work as a member of kitchen administration team. Taking a key part in all kitchen's administrative activities, following provided guidelines and instructions. Representing company values. Supporting other team members in absence of the Kitchen Manager and other senior team members.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Report for duty punctually, wearing appropriate attire and protective clothing while performing any tasks in the kitchen area.
  • Help with the daily management of Rocket Food events kitchen ensuring everything is ordered and received on site, via the FoodBuy system.
  • Work withing the Rocket’s HACCP’s guidelines, following instructions provided during onboarding training.
  • Assist senior team with all agency bookings, their timesheet keeping and absences.
  • Manage Rocket’s databases, filling, and administrative systems
  • Input and manage kitchen recipes in Source system.
  • Ensure that the kitchen areas are kept safe, and any dangerous or hazardous situations are reported to the manager on duty immediately.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all the other colleagues around you both in the kitchen and front of house encouraging Rocket ‘team spirit.’
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of allergens.

 

How are your responsibilities monitored?

 

You will have regular catchups with your line manager, and twice-yearly appraisals.
