Scope of Role

  • To lead the operation at the Chelsea FC training facility in Cobham. This includes the day-to-day running of the business, client relationship and heading up all internal communications
  • Possess a good understanding of budgets and forecasting
  • Work in partnership with the Stamford Bridge team to ensure clear communication, working standards and harmony between both sites
  • Communicate Chelsea FC client and company changes effectively, scoping across teams in the Mens 1st Team, Women’s 1st team and Chelsea FC Academy

 

Person Specification

  • At least three years operational experience at management level, with experience of leading a management team ideally commanding their own unit
  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness of attention to detail with experience working in a client-led environment
  • Awareness of Government Legislation, including Health and Safety and Employment Legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal, administration and organisational skills
  • Computer literate including a proficient understanding of all Microsoft Office programmes
  • A positive and kind approach to your work and the confidence to make your own decisions and do the right thing

Operations

 

  • Work closely alongside the Chelsea FC client and Training Ground culinary team to ensure operational perfection and build internal communications – ensuring the highest level of preparation and execution is met and exceeded
  • Oversee the planning processes of the Cobham team and communicate effectively with relevant departments in regards to operations, billing and event execution
  • Work closely with the Chelsea FC client to ensure that all requests are adhered to and effectively communicated to the wider team
  • Support the Constellation staffing team in making sure the highest level of staff are booked and partnering staffing agencies are communicated with regularly
  • To ensure that the opening and closing procedures of the department are always adhered to
  • Responsible for leading special evening events and last minute operational requests
  • Actively deal with positive and negative feedback from the client and escalate to senior management where necessary
  • Ensure all on site documentation is completed to the agreed standard and timescale.
  • Work with the team to make sure an effective system is in place for the filing, storage and retrieval of all documents. This includes, but is not limited to H&S sign offs, opening/closing checklists and other daily departmental sign offs that occur through the business
  • Pro-actively report all maintenance issues and hazards as in the Company Health & Safety Manual.
  • Work alongside the Levy UK team to support any technical initiatives launched at Chelsea FC
