The QEII Centre is the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in Central London and we are looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our friendly team. Working as a part of the sales team you will be the first point of contact for clients.
Responsible for selling the facilities of the Centre to the UK corporate and agency market you will be assisting customers with enquiries, setting up accounts and providing excellent customer service.
- Responding to enquiries professionally
- Building positive relationships with new and existing customers
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients enquiring about the Centre and handling incoming enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Following up on leads and opportunities
- Working with the team to achieve budgetary targets
- Prepare informative bespoke proposals to meet client objectives
- Following up all enquiries within the required time frames and recording the details on the CRM system
- Conduct engaging, informative showrounds of the venue to give the client confidence that the Centre is the best choice for their event
- Prepare contracts and all necessary paperwork for the event
- Arrange and attend a handover meeting to pass the client on to the operational team
- Undertake proactive research and activity to gain new clients for the Centre
- Expand and maintain an accurate and current UK client database
- Represent the QEII Centre at tradeshows and conferences following up all leads
