Rate of Pay: £33,500 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday Daytime)
Location: Edinburgh, EH3


About the role:

You’ll be working in a brand new, state-of-the-art kitchen with a fantastic working environment and stunning city views. This role sits within a busy staff restaurant offering a diverse and fresh food concept, including Classic British, European and global fusion dishes, alongside pizza, pasta, deli and street food pop-ups.


Key Responsibilities: 
  • Preparing high-quality food for breakfast and lunch services, catering for around 1,200 employees
  • Supporting the Head Chef in managing and developing a team of 9 chefs

  • Delivering a varied food offer including Classic British, European and Global Fusion dishes, along with pizza, pasta, deli and street food concepts

  • Creating a positive kitchen environment where the team feel supported and motivated

  • Identifying opportunities to improve food quality and overall service

  • Supporting with ordering, stock control and minimising food waste

  • Assisting with budget control and achieving financial targets

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene

  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and food handling regulations
