Job Introduction
You’ll be working in a brand new, state-of-the-art kitchen with a fantastic working environment and stunning city views. This role sits within a busy staff restaurant offering a diverse and fresh food concept, including Classic British, European and global fusion dishes, alongside pizza, pasta, deli and street food pop-ups.
- Preparing high-quality food for breakfast and lunch services, catering for around 1,200 employees
Supporting the Head Chef in managing and developing a team of 9 chefs
Delivering a varied food offer including Classic British, European and Global Fusion dishes, along with pizza, pasta, deli and street food concepts
Creating a positive kitchen environment where the team feel supported and motivated
Identifying opportunities to improve food quality and overall service
Supporting with ordering, stock control and minimising food waste
Assisting with budget control and achieving financial targets
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and food handling regulations
Be a strong communicator who builds positive relationships
Be proactive, organised and able to take initiative
Have a passion for food and delivering quality dishes
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
