More about the role:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Contribute to menu development with creative and innovative ideas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen
- Manage inventory and ordering to minimise waste and control costs
About you:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on race days as required
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety
