Venue Director – Old Trafford, Manchester United | Full-Time / Permanent

We’re seeking a Venue Director for arguably the world’s most storied football club, Manchester United, to architect a new era in food, drink, fan experience and excellence. 

Old Trafford is more than a stadium, it’s a global landmark, and we are looking for a visionary leader to take the reins of our new world-class agreement, to redefine hospitality for the stadium’s 75,000 fans, curate the matchday magic and drive everyday excellence that defines the United brand.

Venue Director – The role 

  • Strategic architect. Lead the evolution of the club’s food and beverage strategy across retail and hospitality
  • Commercial powerhouse.Take full P&L ownership, drive revenue growth and identify high-value commercial opportunities.
  • Operational excellence. Hold full accountability for F&B delivery at scale.
  • Cultural catalyst. Inspire a multi-disciplinary team of fixed and variable staff, setting the gold standard in venue culture.
  • Elite partnership. Act as the senior interface between Levy and Manchester United, aligning our ambitious food and drink strategies with the club’s global vision.

  • Strongpreviousexperience of developing a culture of collaboration and a proven record of change management.
  • A highly commercial mindset and data driven approach – understands how finance and operating models are built and what levers can be utilised to improve performance.
  • Flexible and agile, balancing structured approach, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong influencer with exceptional negotiation skills,plusthe resilienceand tenacitytodrive a compelling vision for change.  
  • Proven senior management experience gained in a quality driven food, drink, and hospitality environment with significant operational and stakeholder management.
