What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Strategy & Bid Modelling
- Provide expert financial support to the Defence FM Bid Team, estimating, reviewing, and challenging bid requirements.
- Develop dynamic financial models, ensuring they align with client criteria and commercial objectives.
- Analyse current contract data and performance to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiencies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including UK & Group leadership teams.
- Partner with Operational SMEs, Finance, Procurement, HR, and Food Ops teams to optimise financial bids.
- Support the Head of Finance in client negotiations and dialogue sessions.
Commercial Insight & Decision Support
- Analyse external market data and leverage intelligence from previous bids to shape strategy.
- Ensure supplier rebates, food costs, and compliance are accurately reflected in financial models.
- Contribute to robust forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting to drive financial success.
What We’re Looking For
- Financial & Commercial Expertise – Experience in financial modelling, bid finance, and cost analysis.
- Analytical Mindset – Ability to interpret complex data using advanced Power Query and Power BI modelling and translate data and insights into strategic decisions
- Stakeholder Management – Confident in engaging with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive & Detail-Oriented – Thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of FM or Defence Sector (Desirable) – Understanding of commercial pricing in the industry.
