JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the warehouse and logistics teams, who are responsible for delivering an exceptional service to the full scope of NT Food and Drink (F&D) partners, taking full accountability of NT F&D stock control and inventories of assets and equipment.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

● Order, receive, store and distribute all stock (product, consumables, disposables etc) and equipment throughout The NT as dictated by the daily needs of the team ● To be an ambassador for sustainable waste management along the NT sharing and monitoring best practice with regards to our project goals and objectives ● Alongside Head of Bars and Executive Chef, improve cost of sales and gross profit margin thorough diligent controls relating to stock ordering, storage and usage ● Proactively look to manage stockholding of all relevant areas at all times inline with cash-flow and level of trade to maintain tight ordering and increase savings ● With Head of Operations support maintain a high level of compliance with company risk management strategy and objectives around profit shrinkage ● Investigate and resolve any stock delivery and requisition discrepancies relating to missing stock, invoice issues, stock variances, theft and/or breakage/losses • Assume full ownership the delivery of food safety, health and safety policy and rigorous, documented process and risk assessments across defined BOH areas • Responsible for all the storage procedures, tidiness and cleanliness of the areas, regularly assessing and reassessing layout, and optimising capacity of storage • To ensure all defective, condemned or otherwise unwanted equipment is disposed of swiftly in conjunction with relevant parties and that it’s logged appropriately Internal • Alongside kitchen department to be always fully responsible and accountable of the tidiness, organisation, cleanliness and safety of the loading bay area • Responsible for chemicals, disposable and beverage stocktakes alongside head of department and head of bars maintaining appropriate stockholding • Responsible for stocktaking glassware/high value breakages as directed • Responsible for goods receiving, ensuring the items arrived always match invoices & delivery notes with diligence applied throughout the team through training • To clear bottle skips and any other rubbish from the trading areas, storing, washing, and returning empty bottles bin to the relevant areas • To ensure that all crates and bottle banks are stored safely and neatly and that all rubbish is compacted and removed at specified times • Uploading suppliers, orders and others with care and accuracy onto the system • Be in control of all operating costs in line with set targets and deliver on them
